Indica: A heavy body high
Indica strains typically produce a more physical high than a mental one. People use indica strains as a sleep aid, for increased appetite, and as a pain reliever. You’ve had that ‘melting into the couch’ feeling after a long day at work, and this is exactly how an indica strain will make you feel (likely with more intensity). If you’ve planned a day full of activities or want to be productive, an indica strain wouldn’t be the best choice. This is the strain you should smoke during a night-in when you’re going to sit around, listen to music, or watch movies.

Sativa: A head high

These strains are a perfect combination of indica and sativa and will allow you to feel characteristics of both at the same time. One of the biggest perks of hybrid flowers is that you can select a product that is more dominantly indica or sativa, so you can still have control over your experience. Indica-dominant hybrid strains will leave you feeling a little more stoned, but it won’t put you right to sleep. On the other hand, a sativa-dominant hybrid strain will still allow you to be creative and alert, but you’ll also feel a body high.
